Karma came to Fields of Freedom together with Buddha and Sutra. All three of them were just one year old.
Karma, Buddha, and Sutra were rescued from a lamb farm when a worker at the farm had grown close to them. They had been orphaned when their mothers were sent to the slaughterhouse.
The kind-hearted farm worker could not bear the thought of them ending up as lamb meat so she brought them home with her. But she couldn’t keep them, and again the three lambs’ lives were in danger. Fields of Freedom was contacted and asked if we could take all of them together – as they had become close friends – and give them a loving and caring forever home.
Karma is the most mischievous of all the sheep at the sanctuary. She is always finding a new way to sneak out of her field or jump over a gate. She is also very loving and just loves a good long cuddle.
