We’re still a young and struggling farm sanctuary. We’re still significantly short of meeting our monthly costs for animal food and bedding, hoof care, veterinary services, and stable and field rent.

Monthly Supporter
It is no secret that the very, very best way to help save the animals is to become a monthly supporter. A monthly sponsorship allows Fields of Freedom to budget for the bigger expenses that crop up all the time. These expenses can be recurring, such as the fourteen donkeys’ quarterly farrier visits to have their hooves trimmed. Or vet visits to treat lingering medical issues caused by the physical abuse the animals endured before they came to Fields of Freedom. Or they can be unexpected expenses, such as when Sapphire suddenly stopped eating and was foaming at the mouth and had to have expensive mouth surgery.
Monthly sponsorships allow us to think ahead financially, so we don’t have to keep running campaigns to cover the funding shortfalls for the sanctuary. That’s why they are so very valuable to Fields of Freedom and why our monthly sponsors are very close to our hearts indeed.

We regret that we are only able to offer farm visits to our monthly sponsors. As long as Chris is alone at the farm, he has far too much work every single day of the week to be able to take the time out to host visits from people who don’t actively support the sanctuary.
